2008 Experience the Northwest Dinner & Auction - Tuesday, June 17th

The Red Lion Hotel at the Park is the venue for this fun-filled event. Auction patrons are local business executives and Salvation Army supporters who share an evening of good food, networking, and high-bidder excitement. This year’s theme is “Experience the Northwest” and auction fair will include:

• Las Vegas NASCAR Vacation for Four
• Alaska Airlines Tickets
• One of a Kind Solid Wood Chest
• Bonneville Spa Getaway for Two
• Over 200 theme baskets

All funds raised from this event will allow The Salvation Army to nurture and develop the lives of hundreds of children!

6:00 p.m.: The night starts off with games, and bidding on silent auction items and baskets. There is something for everyone whether you are a sport fanatic, grandparent, gardener, cook, scrapbooker, or if you need a night out on the town.
7:00 p.m.: A gourmet three-course dinner is served. Check back later for entrée description.
7:30 p.m.: Loud auction begins.

Mary Jones

In November of 2007, Women’s Auxiliary President Mary Jones announced to the Auxiliary that the cancer that she had fought against just months earlier had returned as was terminal. This year’s event is held in honor of Mary Jones for her contagious enthusiasm and tireless determination to improve the lives of children by supporting Camp Gifford and Salvation Army youth programs through over 40 years of service in the Women’s Auxiliary.
