Women's Auxiliary Auction Dinner & Golf Classic

The Spokane Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary is an incredible group of ladies of all ages who enjoy games, discussion, and laughter at their monthly meetings. The goal of the group is to raise donations for The Salvation Army’s programs benefiting youth and to support The Salvation Army through volunteerism and promoting public awareness.

The Annual Camp Gifford Golf Classic and Children's Programs Benefit Dinner & Auction are festive and successful fund raising events, organized by the Women's Auxiliary and volunteers from the business community. In twenty-one years, the Women have raised $1 million, all of which went to support The Salvation Army's important programs reaching out to youth throughout the Inland Northwest.

Who benefits from this event?

Sally's House

The only emergency foster care program in the state of Washington providing around-the-clock accessibility for traumatized children in a secure and friendly environment. Up to 18 boys and girls ages 2 to 12 can stay at Sally's House for up to 90 days or until the best fit home can be found.

Camp Gifford

Provides camping experiences for boys and girls ages 6-17 from eastern Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana. Camp Gifford programs are designed to enhance the lives of income-disadvantaged children by providing character-building activities in a wilderness setting-opportunities that many of these young people might not otherwise receive.

Clothe-A-Child

Each Christmas, The Salvation Army partners with J.C. Penney to host a winter-clothing shopping spree for needy children selected by counselors and teachers at their school. For some this is the first time they get to pick out a brand new coat, sweater, or pair of boots!
